ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Non-denominational

Non-denominational means that something or someone doesn't belong to any particular group or team. It's like being a free agent in sports, where you can play for any team you want. Non-denominational is often used to describe churches or religious groups that do not belong to one specific denomination, or group of churches that share the same beliefs and practices. These churches may still follow the basic teachings of Christianity, but they don't subscribe to the specific rules and traditions of one particular denomination. Essentially, non-denominational means that something or someone is not defined by any specific group or label, but can still be part of a larger community.
