Not invented here (NIH) is an attitude that some people and organizations have that they don't want to use things that other people have made or use ideas from other people. They think that their own ideas are the best and that they should do everything themselves. This attitude can lead to a lot of wasted time and energy when the people don't need to reinvent the wheel!
