Genetic fallacy

Genetic fallacy is a type of logical fallacy which happens when someone judges something (idea, argument, person, etc.) based on where it came from, rather than looking at it's actual content. For example, a person might not believe something because it came from a person they don't like, even though when you look at the content, it might be true.
