ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Nozzle

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with a garden hose and noticed that when you put your thumb over the end, the water shoots out further and faster? Well, a nozzle is kind of like your thumb on the hose. It's a little thing that you attach to the end of a hose or pipe that helps control and direct the flow of water or other liquids.

Think of it like a magic wand that can make water go wherever you want it to go! Some nozzles have different shapes and sizes to make the water come out in different ways. Some can make it come out in a really strong stream, while others make it sprinkle like raindrops.

Nozzles are used for all sorts of things. They're used to water plants in a garden, to clean your car or bike, and even to put out fires! Without nozzles, it would be much harder to control where the water goes and how much comes out. So, they're pretty important!
