Numerus clausus

Numerus Clausus is a way to limit how many people can take part in something. It's like you have a room with only enough space for five people but you want to let seven people come. Numerus Clausus means that you would only let five people in, no matter how much the seventh person wants to come in. With Numerus Clausus, you make sure there aren't too many people trying to do the same thing.
