ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

OKEANOS

Okeanos is a really big, wide and deep body of water that covers almost three-fourths of our planet! You know how a big swimming pool can be full of water? Well, Okeanos is like a swimming pool that is full of water so big and wide that it would take a really long time to swim from one end to the other.

Okeanos is also known as the world's oceans. There are five oceans which are Pacific, Atlantic, Indian, Southern, and Arctic. Each ocean has its own characteristics such as marine life, temperature, and saltiness.

Okeanos is really important because it is home to a lot of amazing creatures like fish, turtles, whales, dolphins, and more. It is also used for transportation, trade, and communication between different parts of the world, and helps regulate the Earth's climate by absorbing and releasing heat and gases in the atmosphere.

But just like anything else, Okeanos can also be affected by human activity. We need to take care of Okeanos and make sure we don't overfish, pollute, or destroy its habitats so that Okeanos can continue to support and sustain life on Earth.
