Obelisk

An obelisk is like a really tall pointy stick made out of stone that people put in important places. It's kind of like a fancy decoration that helps people remember something special that happened a long time ago. Usually, they have fancy drawings and carvings on them that tell stories or have important symbols on them. Obelisks are really big and heavy, so it takes a lot of people and tools to make and move them. They're also really old, so some of the ones you might see today have been around for hundreds or even thousands of years!
