ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Object hyperlinking

Object hyperlinking is a way of connecting two pieces of information so you can go from one to the other quickly. It's a bit like taking a shortcut so you don't have to take the long way around. For example, if you have an object (like a person or a place) that is mentioned in a book, it might have a link to a website so you can find out more information about it. It's a really useful way of quickly finding more information and learning more about things.
