Observatory

An observatory is a special place where people can use special tools to observe stars and planets. Inside an observatory are large and powerful telescopes. A telescope is like a very big pair of binoculars that can be pointed up at the night sky. Once the telescope is pointed in the right direction, it can be used to look at planets and stars far away in space. It can also be used to learn more about the moon and even take pictures of beautiful galaxies and nebulas.
