ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Oceanography

Oceanography is like exploring the ocean. It's all about learning about what is happening in the oceans - like the different creatures that live there and the different areas (called habitats). Scientists who study oceanography also learn about the water in the ocean, the currents, and the changes that happen in the ocean over time. They also try to understand how all the parts of the oceans work together and what it means for all of us living on land.
