Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, Designs

Okay kiddo, so there’s a group of people in Europe called the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, Designs. This group helps people and companies protect their designs for things like products and logos.

Imagine you drew a really cool picture and you didn’t want anyone else to copy it or use it without your permission. That’s where the Office for Harmonization comes in. They help you register your design so that other people can’t copy it and make money off of it without paying you.

This also helps companies protect their logos and product designs. For example, if you see a certain design on a Nike shoe, you know right away that it’s a Nike product. This is because Nike has registered their design with the Office for Harmonization to prevent other companies from copying it.

So basically, the Office for Harmonization helps people protect their designs so that other people can’t steal them and make money off of them without permission.
