Operation Hurricane (Canada)

Operation Hurricane was when Canada performed a big test to see what would happen if there was a huge explosion. They wanted to learn about what would happen if there was a nuclear bomb, which is a very dangerous and scary weapon. They did this by building a big bomb and exploding it in a safe way. They had lots of scientists and experts helping them to make sure everyone was safe and they could learn important information about how to protect people if something like this ever happened. It was a very important and brave thing to do, but it was only a test and nobody actually got hurt.
