Operation Shady RAT

Operation Shady Rat was a big operation that a lot of bad people tried to do. These bad people, also called hackers, wanted to get into people's computers without permission. They tried to break into computers everywhere – from businesses to universities to governments. They wanted to take important information – like passwords or bank information – so they could use it for themselves. They used a lot of sneaky ways to do this, like sending emails with bad links or pretending to be someone else online. It was called Operation Shady Rat because the hackers worked in the shadows, like rats in a dark corner of a room.
