ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Operational View

Okay kiddo, so you know how when you play with your toys, you have to move them around and do things to make them work, right? Well, imagine if you had a really big toy, like a huge robot, that you needed to move and make work in order to do important things like pick up heavy things or move fast.

Now, imagine that there are lots of different people who need to use this big robot toy to do their jobs. Some people might need it to pick up things like rocks, while other people might need it to move really fast to help people in emergency situations.

That's where an "operational view" comes in. An operational view is basically a way for all the different people who need to use the big robot toy to understand how it works and how they can use it to do their jobs. It's like a set of instructions that tells everyone how to make the toy work properly.

So, for example, if someone needs to use the robot to pick up rocks, they might look at the operational view and see that there's a special button they need to press to make the robot's arms move. Or if someone needs to use the robot to move fast, they might see that there's a certain lever they need to pull to make the robot go faster.

The operational view is important because it helps all the different people who need to use the big robot toy to work together and use it in the best way possible. Just like how you need to share your toys and work with your friends to make the best playtime ever!
