Otherkin

Otherkin is a group of people who believe they are not entirely human. Instead, they have the soul or spirit of a non-human being inside their human body. For example, they may believe they have the soul of a dragon, fairy, or wolf. They may also believe they have traits or characteristics of that non-human being, such as wings, scales, gills, or tails.

It's a little bit like dressing up in a costume to pretend to be your favorite animal or superhero, but for otherkin, it's not just a costume, it's a part of who they are. They feel a connection to the non-human being they identify with, and believe they have a special connection to nature and the spiritual world because of it.

Many otherkin use the internet to connect with others who feel the same way they do. They share stories, art, and ideas about what it means to be otherkin. Some otherkin also choose to live their lives in a way that reflects their non-human identity, such as by wearing certain clothes, adopting certain habits or rituals, or simply by embracing their unique perspective on the world.

It's important to remember that not everyone believes in otherkin, and that's okay. It's also important to respect other people's beliefs, even if they are different from your own.
