Oxygen sensor

Okay kiddo, do you know how cars have a nose like us to breathe in air so they can run? Well, that air is made up of different gases, including oxygen.

An oxygen sensor is like a tiny nose inside the car. It helps the car know how much oxygen is in the air, so it knows how much fuel to mix with the air to make the car go.

When the oxygen sensor senses that there's not enough oxygen in the air, it tells the car's computer to add more fuel. And if there's too much oxygen in the air, it tells the computer to use less fuel.

This is really important because if the car uses too much fuel, it can waste gas and pollute the air. But if it uses too little fuel, then the car won't run properly.

So, the oxygen sensor helps make the car run better and use less gas, which is good for us and the environment.
