ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

P-factor

P-factor is like having different forces on each side of a bike or airplane propeller. When a bike or airplane starts moving forward, the propeller starts spinning and creates different amounts of force on each side of the propeller. This causes the bike or airplane to turn slightly to one side. It's like when you try to walk with one foot on a slippery surface and the other foot on a sticky surface - it's harder to walk straight!

This can be especially noticeable when an airplane is taking off or climbing. If the airplane is climbing straight ahead but the propeller is spinning off to one side, the airplane will want to turn in that direction. Pilots have to learn how to compensate for this by using their controls to keep the airplane flying straight.

Overall, p-factor is just an effect that happens when something with spinning blades moves forward, but it's important for pilots to understand so they can fly their airplanes safely.
