ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pachinko allocation

Pachinko allocation is like a game. It's a way for groups of people to divide up limited resources, like money or time. In the game, everyone is given the same number of balls (or "tokens") and each person takes turns dropping the balls into different slots on a board. Each slot is associated with a different resource. You can determine how much of each resource you get by how many of your tokens land in each slot. At the end, everyone has a certain amount of each resource that they can use.
