ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pack station

A pack station is like a special place where people can send their packages. It's kind of like a hotel for your package - a place where your package can rest until it's ready to go on its journey again!

You know when mommy or daddy goes to the post office to send a letter or package? Well, sometimes if the package is really big or heavy or if they're sending lots of packages, it can be hard to do it all by themselves. That's where the pack station comes in - people can bring their big or heavy packages to the pack station and the friendly people who work there will help them get it all sorted out!

At the pack station, the workers will make sure the packages are all safe and sound. They'll put them in special boxes or bags and help the people fill out all the important papers and labels that need to be on the package so it goes to the right place. Sometimes, they even have scales there to weigh the packages so people can make sure they're sending the right amount of money to get it sent out.

Once all the important papers and labels are on the package and it's all weighed and sorted and ready to go, the workers at the pack station will send it on it's way! They'll make sure it gets on the right truck or airplane so it goes to the right place. And then, just like that, the package is off on its adventure to get to where it's supposed to go!
