Paint

Paint is a liquid mixture made of a few things that you can use to make things colorful! Think of it like a magic potion that can change the color of things.

First, there is a thing called pigment, which is like tiny little pieces of color that can be mixed together. Pigments come from rocks, plants or even animals. These pigments are mixed with other things like water or oil so they can be spread out evenly.

Next, you need a binder, which is like glue that holds everything together. This helps the paint stick to surfaces and not peel off. Some examples of binders are egg yolk, glue, and chemicals called resins.

Finally, you might need a thinner, which is a liquid that makes the paint easier to spread or makes the color more transparent. You can use water or chemicals called solvents for this.

Together, you mix these three things, pigment, binder and thinner, to make paint! Once it is mixed, you can use a brush, roller, or spray it on to make things colorful. You can use paint to make pictures, decorate your room, or even paint a car!
