Paleogeography

Paleogeography is like a giant map that shows what the world looked like a really long time ago, like when there weren't any humans around yet. It's kind of like a time machine that helps us understand how the Earth has changed over millions and billions of years.

Back when the dinosaurs were around, the continents were in different places and the oceans were different too. There were even different kinds of animals and plants living in different parts of the world. Paleogeography can help us imagine what it might have been like to live back then and how things have evolved over time.

Scientists use things like fossils, rocks, and plate tectonics to figure out what the Earth was like way back when. They can look at where different types of rocks and fossils are found and they can piece together where continents used to be. By studying all these clues, they can create a map of what the world looked like a long time ago - and that's paleogeography!
