Panpipes are musical instruments that are made up of a bunch of tubes stuck together, one end blocked off and the other open. You blow air into the open end of the tube and the air vibrates through the tube, making a sound. But because there are lots of tubes stuck together, you can make lots of sounds at once! To play some songs, you blow air into different tubes to make different sounds. The panpipes are named after the Greek god Pan, who was often associated with music and nature.
