Paperwork Reduction Act

The Paperwork Reduction Act is like when your mommy or daddy tells you to only use one piece of paper to draw a picture or write a letter instead of using lots of papers. The government also has lots of papers they use to keep track of things, and sometimes they used too many papers and it was hard to keep track of everything. So, the Paperwork Reduction Act was made to help the government use less paper and be more organized. Now, when the government wants to use a new form or ask people for information, they have to get permission first and make sure it's really necessary. This helps the government be more efficient and makes things easier for everyone.
