ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Parallel analysis

Parallel analysis uses math to help us figure out which factors are important in a big pile of data. Imagine you have a bunch of toys and you want to organize them into groups. Parallel analysis helps you figure out which toys should go together based on how they look or what they do. It's like having a toy sorting machine in your brain!

But here's the tricky part: sometimes you have too many toys and it's hard to know how many groups you should make. That's where parallel analysis comes in. It looks at how similar or different the toys are and helps you decide how many groups to make. That way, you can organize your toys in the most helpful way possible!
