Parental Advisory

Parental advisory is like a warning sign or a caution sticker that tells grown-ups about the music, movies, or TV shows that have some grown-up things in them. You know how sometimes you see pictures with a big red circle and a line on them because you're not allowed to touch it because it's dangerous; that's like a warning sign. A parental advisory sticker is like that, but it tells moms and dads if they should let their kids watch or listen to it. Sometimes in big-kid songs or shows, they use bad words or talk about things that only grown-ups are supposed to know about.

So, when there is an album or song, or a movie or TV show with a parental advisory sticker on it, it means that there might be some things in there that only older kids or grown-ups should hear or watch. But don't worry; it's for your safety and to make sure you don't hear or see things that could be confusing or might make you feel unsafe.
