Pargetting

Okay kiddo, so imagine if you had a wall made of bricks. It's a little rough and bumpy, right? Well, grown-ups like to make walls look nice and smooth. That's where pargetting comes in. It is a way of putting a special kind of plaster on the wall to make it smooth and pretty.

First, the grown-up will mix up the plaster with water. They have to mix it really well so it's not too lumpy. Then, they use a special tool called a trowel to put the plaster onto the wall. They spread it out evenly and make sure it's all smooth. Sometimes, they might put a design or pattern in the plaster to make it extra fancy.

When the plaster is all dry, the grown-up can paint it any color they want. Then, the wall looks nice and smooth, just like a fresh cookie! And that's what pargetting is all about, making walls look nice and smooth with special plaster.
