Parrondo's Paradox is kind of like a game. It has two parts, called A and B. For part A, you have to keep flipping a coin. If it's heads, you get one point. If it's tails, you lose one point. For part B, you have to roll a dice. If it's a 4, 5, or 6, you get one point. If it's 1, 2 or 3, you lose one point.
At first, it looks like if you play A and B separately, you would lose points. But if you play them together you can actually win points. It's a little confusing but think about it this way: when you play A alone and you get a heads, you get a point. But then when you play B, even if you get a 1,2 or 3, you don't lose a point because you already got that point with A. So, if you play the two games together, you have a better chance of getting more points.
