ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Parthenocarpy

Parthenocarpy is when a fruit grows without any seeds inside of it. This can happen naturally or it can be done on purpose by humans. Imagine if you were to eat a delicious strawberry, but instead of crunching on the little seeds on the outside, they weren't there, and you just got to eat the sweet, juicy fruit. That's kind of what happens with parthenocarpic fruit- it's just the yummy part that you get to eat.
