ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Pastured poultry

Pastured poultry means that the chickens or other birds are allowed to roam around outside on a big grassy area instead of being kept inside all day. They have plenty of space to run around and explore. They eat bugs and grass, which are very healthy for them. This makes their meat and eggs healthier for people to eat too. It's like the chickens get to have a fun adventure outside every day instead of being stuck in one place all the time.
