Patriotism

Patriotism is when someone loves their country and wants to do what is best for it. It is like when you love your mom and dad and want the best for them; but with patriotism you are loving your country, not just your family. Patriotism is also about being proud of your country and its people, even if things are not always perfect. People can also show their patriotism by waving a flag or singing their national anthem!
