Pay per play

Pay per play means that someone or some company pays money to have their stuff played or shown to others. For example, if you hear a song on the radio or watch a video on YouTube, someone may have paid money for that song or video to be played or shown to you. This is called pay per play. Basically, someone pays for their stuff to be seen or heard by other people.
