Pea galaxy

A pea galaxy is a small galaxy found in the universe. Scientists think these galaxies were once bigger, but over time they used up a lot of the gas that helped them stay big, making them shrink. Pea galaxies usually contain a lot of star-forming gas and are often seen near bigger galaxies that are losing some of their gas, which the smaller galaxies use to create new stars.
