ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Peak phosphorus

Peak Phosphorus is the point at which we have used up the majority of the phosphorus in the Earth. Phosphorus is an important element that is found in the soil and helps plants and crops grow, but it is a finite (limited) resource. As the world's population grows, we are using more and more phosphorus, so there is a danger that we may one day run out of phosphorus. Peak Phosphorus is the point when we will have used most of the phosphorus in the Earth and will need to find new sources.
