People Capability Maturity Model

The People Capability Maturity Model (or PCMM) is a way of helping people manage their employees and workplace better. It includes five “maturity levels” - the highest level is called “Level 5”, and it means that the workplace has all the best practices in place to help its employees do their jobs well and be successful. Level 4 is when the workplace has some of the basic practices, and as you go down the levels, you’ll find that the workplace is less organized and the employees are less productive. Level 1 is the worst. So the PCMM helps people figure out which level their workplace is at, and it helps them come up with new ways to make it better.
