Peri-urbanization

Peri-urbanization is when people decide to live in places that are close to cities, but not inside the city. Think of it like living right on the edge of a city. People who live in these places still have some of the benefits of living in a city (like easy access to shopping, restaurants, services, and jobs), but they also enjoy some of the benefits of living in a rural area (like more space, less noise and pollution, and cheaper housing).
