ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Permatemp

Permatemp means a person who works for a company for a really long time, but is not officially an employee of the company. They might do the same work as other employees and have been working for the company for years, but they do not get the same benefits or job security as permanent employees. It's like being stuck in the middle of being an employee and not an employee. It's not very fair, because permatemps work just as hard as everyone else, but they don't get the same rewards.
