Personal distress

Personal distress is when you feel really sad, worried, scared, or overwhelmed. It's like if you had a really bad day and all that stuff felt really hard to manage. It can be really hard to cope with these kinds of feelings, so it's important to find ways to help you manage them. That might be talking to a friend or family member, writing in a journal, taking deep breaths, going for a walk, or trying something relaxing like listening to music. Whatever works to help you feel better.
