Personal protective equipment

Personal protective equipment (PPE) is special clothing and equipment that you wear to keep yourself safe. It might be something like a hard hat when you're working with tools, or something like earmuffs or safety glasses to help protect your ears or eyes. People wear PPE to protect themselves from things like noise, germs, chemicals, or other things that could hurt them.
