Personality rights

Personality rights mean that you have the right to say who gets to use your image, your name, and other things about you for money. For example, if you are a famous singer and someone wanted to use your name and picture in a commercial to sell their product, you have a choice to either give them permission to use it or not. It's important to know your rights of who can use your name and likeness in order to make sure that you stay in control of how you're portrayed in the media.
