Pesticide poisoning

Pesticides are like special sprays that farmers use to keep bugs away from the plants they're growing. But sometimes they can be really harmful to people and animals. Pesticide poisoning is when someone (or an animal) accidentally gets too much of these sprays on them or eats something that has been sprayed with them.

When someone gets poisoned by pesticides, they might feel really sick. They might have a headache, stomachache, and feel like they want to throw up. They might also have trouble breathing or feel dizzy. Sometimes, if they are very poisoned, they might even faint or have a seizure.

Pesticide poisoning can happen if someone is working with the sprays and doesn't wear the right protective gear. It can also happen if someone drinks water or eats something that has been contaminated with pesticides. Pesticides can even hurt animals that live in the wild, like birds or insects that accidentally eat plants that have been sprayed.

So it's important to be careful around pesticides and not get too much of them on you or in you. If you start feeling sick after being around pesticides, you should tell a grown-up right away so they can help you feel better.
