Petition

A petition is a way for people to ask the government or another organization (like a company or a school) to make a change or do something. Signing a petition shows that you agree with the change that people are asking for. After enough people have signed the petition, it is sent to the person or organization that has the power to make the change. The more people that sign the petition, the more likely it is that the change will happen.
