Petrov classification

Petrov Classification is a way of grouping stars. It is named after Soviet astronomer Nikolai Petrov. This classification is based on the temperatures of stars. Some stars are hot, some are colder. Petrov Classification groups stars by how hot or cold they are, so that astronomers can better understand and study them. Stars are divided into 7 groups based on their temperature. Stars in group 1 are the hottest and stars in group 7 are the coldest.
