Photoelectrochemical process

Photoelectrochemical processes are ways of using sunlight to do things. The idea is that when light hits special material (called a photoelectrode), it causes electrons to move around. These electrons are then used to do things like turn water into oxygen and hydrogen or to produce electricity. It's like a way of using the sun's energy to produce something useful.
