Photography and the law

Photography and the law means that there are laws about what you can and can't take photos of. For example, you cannot take photos inside someone's house without their permission. Taking photos of someone else's property (like a car or a building) without their permission can also be against the law. You also cannot take photos of private places like bathrooms and locker rooms. Taking photos of kids at the park or in the street can sometimes be against the law too. Some places, like museums, may also require you to get permission to take pictures. Always ask permission before taking pictures if you're not sure if it's okay or not.
