Phrygian cap

Have you ever seen a hat that looks like a pointy triangle? That's called a Phrygian cap!

The Phrygian cap has a interesting shape, kind of like a pointy triangle. Imagine folding a piece of paper in half diagonally to make a triangle - that's what the Phrygian cap looks like!

It's a really cool hat and has been used for lots of different things. In ancient times, it was used as a symbol of freedom and liberty. People who were slaves or prisoners were sometimes given Phrygian caps when they were set free.
