Phytophotodermatitis

Phytophotodermatitis is when your skin gets hurt by plants and sunlight working together like a bully gang. Some plants that can do this include limes, lemons, parsley, and celery. When you touch or rub against these plants, they release a special juice that contains chemicals called psoralen and bergapten. These chemicals can make your skin super sensitive to sunlight. So, if you go outside and are exposed to sunlight, your skin can get super red, itchy, and painful. So, it's important to make sure you wash your skin as soon as possible if you touch these plants and wear clothes that cover up your skin to protect it from the sunlight.
