Planetary protection

Planetary protection is about making sure we don't accidentally bring bugs from Earth to other planets and moons. We don't want to bring these bugs because they might make the other planets sick, and we don't want to mess up the places when we go exploring. So the way we try to keep this from happening is by having protocols and special cleaning techniques that make sure anything we send to or bring back from outer space is very clean and free of bugs.
