Plastering

Plastering is like making a cake. First, you need to mix some ingredients like flour, sugar, and eggs together to make the batter. In plastering, the ingredients are different. You need a special type of powder called plaster of Paris and water to make the mixture.

Then, just like when you pour the batter into a baking dish, the plaster mixture is spread onto walls or ceilings using a flat tool called a trowel. This makes the surface smooth so that it can be painted or decorated.

Sometimes, walls or ceilings have cracks or holes that need to be fixed before plastering. This is like putting frosting on a cake before putting the decorations on top. Once the cracks and holes are fixed, the plaster mixture can be spread on top to make everything smooth and even.
