Plastic wrap

So, you know how sometimes when you have food left over or want to take it with you somewhere, you put it in a "blanket" called plastic wrap?

This "blanket" is made of a thin, see-through material made from something called plastic. This plastic is kind of like a stretchy rubber band that can stick to itself and other things.

The plastic wrap is used to keep your food fresh and protected. When you put it over a bowl or plate of food, it creates a seal or cover that keeps air and other things (like bugs) from getting into the food. It also helps to keep moisture in which can help food stay fresh for longer.

Plastic wrap is also easy to use, you just pull it out of a box or roll, and then tear or cut off the amount you need to cover your food. After you're done using it, you can just throw it away or recycle it if it's possible.

So, in summary, plastic wrap is a thin, stretchy material made from plastic that is used to keep your food fresh and protected.
