Pleonasm

Pleonasm is when you use more words than you need to say something. For example, you don't need to say "it's a interesting idea". The word "interesting" already means something is nice, so you don't need to say it's a "interesting" idea. You can just say it's an "idea". So saying "it's an interesting idea" is called pleonasm.
